Sri Anandha Vinayagar Temple  is placed  closed to Sri Dharbaranyeswara Swamy Temple,Thirunallar at Karaikal District, Puducherry.

Anandha Vinayagar is one of the best-known and most worshiped deities in the Hindu pantheon. He is the son of Shiva and Parvati and he is the brother of Karthikeya the god of war.

Sri Sannathi Vinayagar is the Lord of Good Fortune who provides prosperity, fortune and success.  He is the Lord of Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles of both material and spiritual kinds.  Interestingly, he also places obstacles in the path of those who need to be checked.

Therefore, instead of propitiating each Gana in order to receive their blessings, we bow to their Lord, Sri Vinayagar  by receiving his grace, we receive the grace of all.
