Thirunallaru is one of the most important Navagraha pilgrimage sthalam where “Navagraha Supremo” “Anugraha Murthy” Lord Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan with his “Abhaya Hastham” (Hand position bestowing blessings) is blessing the devotees with good fortune and relieves them of all their afflictions.
As per vedic astrology, Lord Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan resides in each Rasi or Zodiac Sign for 2½ years and moves from one sign (house) to the next in the Zodiac once 2½ years. This day is celebrated as “Sanipeyarchi Festival” at the sacred shrine of Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan at Thirunallaru.
The upcoming Sanipeyarchi Festival will be held on the Tamil month of Maargazhi, 12, Sunday Saarvari Tamil Year (20.12.2023) Evening 05.20 P.M. during which Lord Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan will transit from the Zodiac Sign capricorn (Magaram) to Aquarius (Kumbam).
Lord Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan’s sight influences the course of one's life, blessing them with good life depending on one’s deeds, sins and virtues. He is just and gives us the results based on our karma or deeds. At the end of Ezharai sani (2½ years Sani Period), he generously gifts a life which will be a permanent yogam in one’s life. Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan is Ayulkaragan or Protector of Life and possesses the power to cure hereditary diseases. He also gives mental zeal to face tough situations in life. Lord Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan showers his blessings like a Kamadhenu to his devotees surrendering unconditionally.
During Sanipeyarchi Festival, Ashtotra Archana, Thilasoorna Naivedhya Archana, Sahasranama Archana, Latcharchana, One Manadala (48 days) Ashtothra Archana, Navagraha Shanti Homams, Golden Charriot Procession of Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan, Thila Dheepam Worship, Mahayaga Ekadhasa Rudhrabishegam, Annadhanam and other special pooja ceremonies are performed for Lord Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan, in a very pious manner, in the name of the devotees, business establishments and prasadhams are served.
During this Sanipeyarchi Festival, Devotees who wish to pay obeisance to Sri Saneeswara Bhagavan are invited to visit the temple or avail the e-Seva services of the devasthanam. Prasadhams for e-Sevas will be sent through post.
